A malware campaign targeting European defense organizations, governments, and media organizations first detected on Windows computers late last year has now spread to iOS devices, according to a report by security researchers at TrendLabs.
Malware that cannot be uninstalled by the end user is being pre-loaded onto some cheap Android smartphones. The malware is pre-loaded into the system directory of the handsets at an unknown point within the supply chain.
(Reuters) – Health insurer Anthem Inc, which earlier this month reported that it was hit by a massive cyberbreach, said on Tuesday that 8.8 million to 18.8 million people who were not its customers could be victims in the attack.
